Kehinde Bankole is a Nigerian TV host, model and actress. She officially made her entertainment debut in the 2003 Miss Commonwealth Nigeria beauty contest, she went on to participate in the 2004 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant. Kehinde Bankole was crowned the winner of revelation of the year award at the 2009 Best of Nollywood Awards, two years after her first screen feature in Wale Adenuga’s Super story.

Early Life and Educational Background
Kehinde Bankole was born as the 4th child in a family of six. She formal education at Tunwase Nursery and Primary School, Ikeja. After completing her primary and secondary education and obtaining her senior secondary school leaving certificate, she proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University where she studied Mass Communication for a while and took a break to concentrate more on her modelling career in 2004.
According to Kehinde biography, she has a twin sister, Taiwo who ironically started acting before Kehinde but is now into events management.
Career and Success
We understand that not many know how Bankole started out as a model before branching into acting. She officially had her first experience when she auditioned as a contestant in Miss Commonwealth Nigeria pageant in 2003, although she did not win, according to a statesmen she made, it states that all she wanted was “exposure”, her major aim was to make the top 10.
Kehinde Bankole also had a shot at Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria but could not make the top five list. Bankole was chosen along with Sylvia Udeogu and Olaide Olaogun to become to new face of Lux in 2007 after the contract of Genevieve Nnaji expired as a Lux ambassador.
She officially launched her acting career during her reign as Lux ambassador in the family drama Super story: Everything it Takes. She has also been featured in other Wale Adenuga’s productions like Papa Ajasco and This Life. She has starred in not less than 50 Nollywood movies , some of her noted movies include Two Brides and a Baby, The Meeting, Awakening and more recently, October 1
