Joselyn Dumas is a Ghanaian television host and actress. She is one of the most celebrated merchant in the Ghanaian entertainment industry but there are only few people who know much about her. She is one of the most featured Ghanaian actress and also well known for her massive curves . She has appeared in several block-buster movies , she starred in A Northern Affair in year 2014 and the role earned her a Ghana Movie Award and an Africa Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Joselyn Dumas, a top celebrated Ghanaian television host and actress was born on 31st August 1980. She was born Joselyn Canfor-Dumas in Ghana and spent her early childhood in Accra, Ghana before kick starting her acting career.
She was raised by a single parent, the actress was single-handedly raised by her mother who she so much adores, talks about often and expresses endless gratitude to for contributing so much to what she is today.
According to careful observations, she doesn’t like talking about her father due to the fact that there was no relationship that existing between the father and daughter. Our digging revealed that her mother’s name is Bridget while that of her Dad who is now with another woman is undisclosed at this time.
Of course, Joselyn Dumas is a proud graduate like many other Ghanaian actress and actors, the heavily endowed lady had her basic education at Morning Star School and proceeded to the Archbishop Porter Girls High School where she became the Entertainment Prefect. After completing her high school education, she proceeded to the United States where she studied for eight years and earned a Degree in Administrative Law. The gorgeous woman was busy practicing paralegal until she relocated to Ghana.

She started off her career when she was practicing paralegal and relocating to Ghana to follow her dreams of becoming a Television personality. She officially started featuring in Television as the host of Charter House’s Rhythmz, an entertainment show, which saw her interview many celebrities. The beautify and talented lady was once picked by one of Ghana’s biggest Television Networks to host their first own produced flagship Talk show, The One Show, a show which was aired from 2010 to 2014. She is currently the host for a new TV talk show @ Home with Joselyn Dumas which is aired across Africa and parts of Europe.
She started her movie career in the movie titled Perfect Picture, her exceptional display of talent earned her more roles subsequently from the director . She gained recognition two years later in the Shirley Frimpong-Manso movie series Adams Apples. The role of “Jennifer Adams” in Adams Apples got her nominated for Best Actress in a lead role alongside Hollywood Actress Kimberly Elise at the 2011 Ghana Movie Awards. She has since turned out to become a household name in The Ghanaian Entertainment industry.
She has starred in several popular movies including Love or Something Like That, A Sting in a Tale, Perfect Picture, A Northern Affair , Lekki Wives to list out a few. She has featured alongside some best name in the industry the likes of John Dumelo, Majid Michel of Ghana and OC Ukeje of Nigeria Nollywood.
Aside acting, she has also tried her hands in production. She co-produced Miss Malaika Ghana, one of the most prestigious beauty pageant in Ghana, from 2008 to 2010.She is also the founder and CEO of Virgo Sun Company Limited, a production entity which under her directorship, has already co-produced its first movie Love or Something Like that, endorsed by the UNAIDS.
One of her major concern is giving back to the society because they brought her this far in her career. Her passion for philanthropic work led to the establishment of The Joselyn Canfor-Dumas Foundation (JCDF) which is tailored at addressing the needs of vulnerable children from all backgrounds and regions of Ghana.
