Her parents were average people , her father was an engineer and her mother was a nursery teacher. She attended Methodist Girls College (Yaba, Lagos) and later graduated from the University of Lagos where she read creative arts. Her dream to become an actress originated in her University days where she began auditioning for acting jobs in Nollywood as well as she was also involved in other minor projects.
